One of the maddest endings we've ever seen in football, after what was a thrilling game that we really should have won and could have avoided the disaster performance from the referee at the end.
In the first half we exchanged goals with AC Givatayim, as Alex Nussbacher equalised for us to level the scores going into the break. In the second half, we again needed to come from behind as Alon Naamani's cross was put into his own goal by a Givatayim defender to put the scores at 2-2.
A brilliant cross and finish saw us go into the lead right at the end but we somehow managed to concede a few minutes later, failing to deal with a corner and needlessly letting the ball go into the back of the net.
However, all the drama was still to come when the referee awarded us a penalty in the final minute, sending off a Givatayim player for elbowing Daniel Benarroch in the face within the area.
In a moment of confusion the referee then blew the final whistle before the penalty was taken, prompting our opponents to leave the pitch while we waited to understand the outcome of the game.
The match will be replayed at a later date.
