This past week we hosted Elitzur Lod at home as we kept up our fine run of form of late, beating our opponents to clinch our 5th consecutive victory and move to an impressive 12-6 record for the season.
It was still somewhat of a slow start, a characteristic of ours this season, but we ended the first quarter out in front and did not relinquish the lead again for the remainder of the game.
Sam Roche led the scoring with 20 points; our all-time leading scorer has now passed 500 points for the club, the first player to reach such a feat. Nyv Segev (10) was the only other player to reach double figures in what was a terrific defensive performance from the entire team.
We remain in 5th in the Liga Aleph Mercaz table, just a game behind Maccabi Be'er Yaakov. Our next game is a trip to bottom-placed Hapoel Brenner as we look to make it 6 in a row.
