Continuing the strong start to our inaugural season in Liga Bet, Inter Aliyah Basketball defeated Lev Tel-Aviv 70-51 to move to a 3-1 record this season.
After a tightly played first quarter that finished 19-18 in favour of Lev Tel-Aviv, we put on the gas for a 17-3 run in the second quarter and never looked back from that point.
We were led by American wing Ryan Clamage with 21 points, guard Barak Swarttz with 18 points and Canadian dynamo Oren Ben-Brith with 14 points.
There were also big contributions by the defence and rebounding of big men Sebastian Kanovich and Yakir Naftali.
We will look to continue our momentum this coming Wednesday in a home game against Maccabi “Yahalom” Ramat Gan.
