After winning the first three games since the season re-started, our basketball team took on Lev Tel Aviv at home last Wednesday, a team we had already beaten during the first round of matches.
The roster was much unchanged, with Jake Pemberton yet to return since suffering a head injury a few weeks ago, but there was a return for Uruguayan center Seba Kanovich after he had spent time in his native Montevideo.
The first quarter started as a tight affair between both teams, but we soon found ourselves ahead by the time the match reached its halfway point, as both defence and offence found their rhythm.
Sam Roche continued his strong start life in white and blue, leading the scoring with 23 points, while Barak Swarttz contributed 22 of his own to extend his lead in the club's all-time scoring list.
Both Nyv Segev and Amitai Spiegelman also managed to hit double figures for the night in a game that saw all 15 players have playing time and a first field goal for the club for American forward Max Abraham.
The win puts us into 2nd place with a 10-4 record, just behind Maccabi Ordea Ramat Gan, who we still have to play.
