After a long, nearly three-week break, the league returned to action on Tuesday night, as we hosted Maccabi Bolandi Holon at home for our 3rd Liga Aleph Mercaz game of the season.

AJ Mitnick selected a strong starting five, with Omri Rotman, Sam Roche, Meir Tapiro, Ron Changel and Yaniv Green opening on the floor as we took on a Holon side who had won once and lost twice going into the game.

We started strong and took the lead but Holon stayed within touching distance throughout the 1st quarter. The first quarter ended with a 3-point buzzer beater by Nyv Segev, in his first game of the season.

By the 2nd we had developed a double-digit advantage over our opponents, with the likes of Nyv Segev, Yarden Khoushy and Guy Schindler coming off the bench to exert our dominance, the latter of whom made three 3-pointers in a row. By the time half time came around we were well ahead and the second half seemed more of a formality as the lead never dropped by 25 points.

Nyv Segev led our scoring with 15 points, while Sam Roche (13) also reached double digits. Yet, it was a real team performance as all but one of 12 players on the night would get points on the board.

Next week, we travel to Yehud to take on a team with a similar record, ahead of us in the standings due to their extra game played.
