First half against Estudientes, we started with just 11 men and Sam Sank having to go in goal as all 3 of our strikers were late to the game; this meant playing people out of position.

However, the team rallied and played brilliantly in the first half, fighting for every ball, putting Estudiantes off their game, they are a big team and were rattled with the way we went at them.

Out of nothing they scored to make it 1-0 from an accidental headed back pass by us to their striker. However, six minutes later a great reaction from Uri Yaniv who made up for his previous error by grabbing a volleyed goal from a free kick to make it 1-1. A draw at half time was a fair result.

In the second half Matt Keston asked for more of the same but we got off to the worst possible start conceding after just 2 minutes as we gave Estudiantes too much time on the ball, got caught out of position and a nice move by them made it 2-1.

Estudiantes started to play with confidence, we could not hold onto the ball for long enough and our challenges weren’t strong enough in the second half. We gave them too much respect on the ball, we got more tired and paid the price by conceding 5 in the second half.
