If Inter B came and played with the passion and determination they showed on Wednesday night each week in the IFLI they would never lose a game and their spirited performance throughout made Inter A work hard for their win. Apart from 7 minutes of poor concentration where 3 goals were conceded, it was an excellent performance.

For the first 20 minutes, Inter A piled the pressure on; dominating possession but could not break the B side down as they fought back every attack. However, all the hard work was undone within the next 7 minutes. The first goal came from a corner that was cleared, but the ball was put back into the box and Vlad Kart rose highest to head past David Benarroch.

The second goal started with an Inter B corner, yet a quick counter-attack led to Yuval Levi scoring, to make it 2-0 three minutes after the first goal. The third came from a free-kick next to the corner flag and again the Inter B defence was not organized quick enough, allowing Sam Sank to header home what would eventually be the winning goal.

However, from that moment on until the end of the game, it was a superb performance from the B team. They were back in the game as Didi Hovav’s corner found Yusuke Miyake on the 33rd minute to slot it home and at half-time there was still a game to play.

In the second half, both teams played some beautiful football across the floor but it was the B team who were rewarded from a second set-piece that Zequi Lubocki floated in and Zack Shooter, on his debut, found the back of the net. The next half an hour saw more chances for the B's prompting Inter A to step up a gear and search for the 4th goal, but neither team could find the net and the game finished 3-2.

Inter B manager Matt Keston said he was ''very proud of this performance, I was impressed with everyone that played today, so much so that for the first time I am not going to give a man of the match as for me it was the best team performance I’ve seen in so long and you all deserve equal credit for the way you came together as a team.''
