The less said about this one the better. Our first ever Liga Bet game and the 2023/24 season opener ends in a big defeat as we are torn apart by HaKoach Amidar Ramat Gan away.
A lot of players were missing for this game, giving a first start of the season for Fernando Zatz, who, along with Sam Sank, Andy Gabay and Gaston Hilman, also featured in our first-ever Liga Gimmel game back in 2016.
We made three errors at the back in the first half, all of which led to Ramat Gan goals, whilst our best effort on goal came courtesy of Itay Kugel who hit the bar with his left-footed shot.
In the second half we did not threaten to get back into the game and even though the score remained 0-3 until the 80th minute, the floodgates then did open for the final 10 minutes as Ramat Gan ran riot.
