After last week's somewhat humiliating 6-3 defeat at home to Otzma Holon, it was vital for our Liga Gimmel team to return to winning ways as we took on HaKoach Ramat Gan away and that's exactly how it went down.

Both Jaime Kauffman and Sam Sank returned to the starting lineup, with the Peruvian lining up in a central midfield that alongside Gaston Fratesi and Roey Sartov dominated the middle throughout the game.

After a few half chances, we made the breakthrough on the half-hour mark as Ron Sharifi's cross from the left-hand side was poked into the net by Evgeny Kart, who is having another stellar season.

Ron Sharifi would go from provider to finisher in the second half, toying with a couple of defenders before curling an outrageous effort into the top corner for one of the goals of the season.

In the end, it was a comfortable victory with Leo Gewertz barely having a save to make all afternoon. The win keeps us just behind Holon with four games left to play.
