We continue our record-breaking season with another impressive performance, this time blowing aside Liga Gimmel veterans and long-standing rivals, Otzma Holon, away from home.

Having rested last weekend, we were raring to get back onto the pitch and there was a return to the starting lineup for goalkeeper Gianni Conti, who had been out for a few months after dislocating his elbow.

We started strong and effectively killed the game within the first 6 minutes, scoring twice through Vlad Kart and Ron Sharifi, who each assisted the other to continue their budding partnership up front.

Gianni barely had to make a save all game as our defence stood firm and although we lost our rhythm at some points during the game, we never looked in danger of conceding or giving up the lead.

The three points were confirmed in the second half when Vlad Kart scored his 30th goal of the season, after substitute Jeremy Tenenbaum put him through on the Otzma Holon goal.

The win keeps us close to the league leaders, who sit 6 points above us but have played a game more. We still need to play the teams around us in the remaining 11 games of the season.

This season continues to be our best-ever campaign in Liga Gimmel during our 7-year history in the league and promotion to Liga Bet remains a genuine possibility this year.
