This game will go down long in the memory, with all three points snatched at the death as we came back from a goal down late on and extended our winning run to 11 games.

Borja Lema made only one change from the 2-0 win over Givat Shmuel on Friday; bringing in Gsaton Hilman in midfield in place of Andy Gabay. Playing away at Yehud is always a tough challenge and we felt it early on as we struggled to find our rhythm.

Our best chances in the first half fell to Jeremy Tenenbaum who tried his luck from outside of the box, while Gianni Conti made a good save from a Yehud free kick. It was far from our best half of football and we seemed nervous in possession.

Things did not improve after the break and it was Yehud who broke the deadlock, giving Gianni no chance from a well-hit free kick. It seemed as if our 13-match unbeaten run was finally coming to an end but our substitutes changed the game.

First, Vlad Kart, so often scoring our goals, became the provider, feeding Jeremy inside the box and the American midfielder made no mistake to equal the scores and drive us forward in search of the winner.

Samuel Hazins, off from the bench, scored a stunning effort with just five minutes to go to prompt mad celebrations from the bench and he then got another moments before the final whistle, after good work from another substitute, Yuri Nucenovich.

The win momentarily lifts us into 2nd place, with a massive game away to 4th placed Shikma Hen awaiting us on Saturday evening. Avoid losing to our old rivals and a play-off place may well be guaranteed at the very minimum.
