After the disappointment of last week's loss to Bnei Yehud effectively ended our play-off hopes, an away fixture to 2019 Liga Gimmel champions Otzma Holon awaited our guys.

We had never defeated this team away from home at the Holon Stadium, but the team was undeterred to leave without 3 points, taking the lead on three separate occasions to eventually emerge as winners.

A few changes in the starting XI saw Isaac Kahtan make his first start for the club, while the introduction of Ariel Peretz in the second half was significant, as the midfielder became only the second player to make 100 appearances for the club.

Ron Sharifi put us ahead following a delightful cross-field ball from captain Gaston Hilman, which was no more than we deserved. Yet, we would go into the half tied up, as Holon equalised just before the break.

We continued to show more dominance in the second period, but it was not until the last quarter of the game where we finally took the lead for a second time, Vlad Kart scoring for the second game in succession, assisted by twin brother Evgeny.

Again though we were unable to hold onto the lead and Holon found a way back into the game 10 minutes later, celebrating what they thought would be enough to take home a point.

Evgeny Kart went from provider to scorer himself, taking advantage of confusion in the Holon defence and firing home a very late winner, the second time this season he has scored a vital goal in the closing moments of a game.

A great win away from home even if it doesn't help us get into the playoffs.
