The games keep on coming thick and fast with us having two league matches in a week for the second week running. The midweek game saw Lazarus Holon visit us, whom we hosted at Wolfson on Wednesday night.

There were first starts of the season for Jeremy Tenenbaum and Max Mzhen, the latter of whom was making his debut for the club as part of this new-look, all-American central midfield.

From the get-go we took the game by the scruff of its neck and attacked Holon with patience and quality. Our patient play paid off eventually and after half an hour we found the breakthrough as Oded Puzis' cross from the right-hand side was met with the head of Vlad Kart.

Jeremy then proceeded to turn his first start of the season to one for the history books as he scored two beautiful goals in quick succession. Ron Sharifi was the provider on both occasions as Jeremy showcased his shooting abilities with two accurate strikes.

The second half became a feisty affair with the result seemingly already done, as both teams aggressively hacking each other down on several occasions. Holon grabbed a consolation goal just after the hour mark, but Vlad's 22nd of the season immediately after sealed a comfortable win.

We take on 4th place Shikun Vatikim Ramat Gan away from home on Saturday.
