Name: Caro Ratner
Team: Inter Aliyah Banot
Originally from: Córdoba, Argentina
Favourite team: Club Atlético Talleres
Football idol: Pablo 'Cholo' Guiñazú
Interesting fact: Caro is one of the most skilful players in Inter Banot but her first taste of football was as a goalkeeper!!
''I started playing football seven years ago in the girls' team of Maccabi Noar, the Jewish club of Córdoba. I actually started life as a goalkeeper because a friend of mine from the team told me they needed one and since my brother is a goalkeeper, she thought I would be perfect for it. But, that didn't last too long and I soon change my position to the outfield.
''I came to Israel 9 months ago with a Masa program and I decide to stay with a working visa a little bit more. I don't know what "a little bit more" means, but I am still here in Israel for now, hard to leave this amazing country. Meanwhile, I am working and searching for new opportunities as a psychologist.

''Shortly after arriving in Israel, I heard about the club after speaking to one of my best friends, who is the former flatmate of Inter Aliyah co-founder Jaime Kauffman.
''I really missed playing football so I asked another close friend, who used to play football in Córdoba with me, and we decide to go and try Inter Banot. Needless to say, we immediately fell in love with it.

''The girls and the coach Gaston, another Argentinian, are the best. We have a lot of fun and get to play lots of football every training on a Wednesday. It's amazing to be with people who are in similar life situations but come from totally different countries and backgrounds.
