A large contingent of Inter Aliyah supporters was left heartbroken on Saturday night, after Inter Blet in a goal from a corner in the final minute of their IFLI Division 2 top-of-the-table clash against runaway leaders, IFU South.

We started well and had a big chance within the first minute, but Mijael Marianoff unfortunately, mishit the ball. Then, IFU started to dominate and won a penalty after increasing pressure, but put it wide! They then had shot after shot but David Bennaroch kept them out with some brilliant saves.

We improved towards the end of the half and won a penalty just before half time from a handball. Unfortunately, Gal Noymark hit the ball over the bar and the score stayed goalless at half-time.

We came out much much better and more organised in the second half, and started to slowly take control of the game. Ezequiel ''Zequi'' Lubocki saw his free-kick again hitting the post with exactly the same shot as last week.

They had two dangerous wingers throughout the game but we kept them under control in the second half. However, right at the end, we allowed the ball to bounce from a corner and a man left on his own at the back post tapped it into the net.

Our first loss of the season, but it was to the best side in the league and only very marginally. We are not conceding many goals but need now to start scoring more.

Man of the match:

David Bennaroch🔥
