The night started badly when 5 minutes before kick-off goakeeper David Bennaroch was injured in the warm-up - David hurt his back badly and we wish you well and a quick recovery. Nacho Duek kindly agreed to go in goal.

We started the first half very sloppy, giving the ball away and never getting to the ball first - FC United came at us with more energy and attack. 1-0 down after a mistake in the box as both defender and goalkeeper mishit the ball and it dropped to an FC United player to walk it into the net, a gift. Then, 2-0 down after giving the ball away in the midfield and their top striker put our centre backs on the floor finishing beautifully into the top corner.

At half time we changed to 4-4-2 and talked about getting the early goal and having to improve our play tremendously to get anything from the game. Two minutes after the restart it all went to plan as Gabriel Bruck fed Geron who found Josh Fischbach in space with a beautiful finish.

Chance after chance then came and went as we couldn’t get the second but dominated play. Then in the 68th minute, a free kick taken quickly by us was given straight to FC United deep into our half - resulting in a good finish into the net and we were suddenly 3-1 down. Chances then came and went for both teams but they were all missed and we come out with a disappointing 3-1 loss.

Man of the Match: Nico Milieris 🔥
