After last season's heroics in the IFLI Cup, which saw this team make it to the semi-finals, beating two IFLI1 opposition in the knockout stages along the way, this year's run ended at the last 16 stage after a resounding defeat to Emek Yezreel.
We became the first team to beat Emek last season, when we defeated the ILFI1 champions 3-0 in the cup group stage but there was to be no repeat this time round.
We competed well in the first half, but Emek's blistering attack still managed to score on three occasions and in the second half we fell apart as the goals flooded in.
