In a game that was there for the taking, Inter Blue could only manage a draw against Aviv City, coming to life once our opponents had taken a lead with 20 minutes to go.

The first half was a drab affair, with all the action coming towards the end of the game. Aviv City's opener sparked our team into life, knowing a defeat would be an injustice based on the team we put out.

We did have a few chances in the first half; first, a Nacho Diek through ball saw Daniel Geron's shot just clip the outside of the post. Then, Martin Lagman saw his shot parried by the keeper as Geron put him through on goal.

We eventually did beat the keeper, albeit through the penalty spot as Geron picked himself up after being fouled to power the ball into the bottom keeper and set up a grandstand finish.

Late chances through Lagman and Tom Printac couldn't give us a dramatic win but the point keeps us in 5th place as we enter the final 7 games of the season.
