We needed just a point from our final group match of the IFLI Cup to progress through to the knockout stages as group winners, following last week's impressive 4-3 win over IFLI1's GT Lions.
Despite just needing a point, we annihilated our opposition, fellow IFLI2 side FC Dynamo, reaching double figures in goals as part of a massive 10-1 win, our biggest of the season.
Nico Kiperszmid returned to the squad in his first game back from receiving a red card on his debut last month and he showed exactly what we've been missing by hitting a hat trick and getting an assist too.
His namesake Nico Blum got five assists as par of an impressive display, while Gaston Fratesi (2), Gaby Caminetsky (2), Ivan Orencel, Kevin Natanzon and Daniel Rubio all got on the scoresheet, as we split our goals evenly between the two halves.
A late goal from FC Dyanmo ruined a clean sheet but there won't be too much disappointment after this win, which sees us fly into the last 16 of the IFLI Cup, where we reached the semi-finals last season.
Our reward for finishing 1st is a tough fixture against last season's IFLI2 Champions Emek Yezreel, whom we also faced in the cup last year.
