Without a doubt the best result of the season and arguably our most solid performance so far this year in the IFLI2 as we faced the league leaders.
The game started very evenly but early into the game we conceded a not-so-deserved goal. But, while we were down on the scoreboard we continued playing smart following our game plan. By the 30th minute, a rebound and a well-positioned Jack Miller earned us the tieing goal. The first half ended 1-1 with Inter looking strong.
The second half continued with very similar opportunities for both teams but a good team play and smart thinking from Zack Shooter put us in the lead as he poached on a mistake before finishing well.
Not long after, a great run from Agus Barbozza saw him fouled inside the box and up stepped Jack Miller to score the resulting penalty and his second of the game. From that point until the end of the game, we remained composed and justified the win.
