Inter Blue made it two wins out of their first 3 games of the season in the IFLI2, after a dominant display against AJAF, who last week had grabbed a late equaliser to draw 3-3 with Inter White.

Italian maestro and Inter Aliyah Director of Football, Maurizio Patti, took charge of Inter Blue as he stepped in as interim Head Coach and he'll end his tenure with a 100% record thanks to Saturday's victory.

Patti had a strong squad at his disposal but somehow it was AJAF who took the lead, scoring an impressive goal that left Spanish keeper David Benarroch with absolutely no chance.

However, the resolve of Inter Blue is strong and we were back on level terms shortly after assist king Nacho Duek found his Argentinian compatriot Misha Marianoff to score his second goal of the season.

The score remained level at halftime as Maurizo urged his side to continue to dominant the African opposition, assuring them that the goals would come.

And the goals most certainly did come. In a second-half flurry, we soon found ourselves 4-1 ahead as Misha grabbed his second of the game before Uriel Benita scored a delightful free-kick from way out.

Tom Printact got in on the act too, getting a brace before the final whistle went, sandwiching an AJAF consolidation goal, to earn our side another three points in the league.

The only downside of the game was a painful injury that our heroic keeper David Benarroch received as the game entered its final minutes. The Spaniard dived awkwardly, landing on his elbow which was dislocated, prompting an ambulance to come and take him away.

In true Inter Aliyah spirit, about half the time followed David to the hospital where he was treated and will now spend a number of weeks on the sidelines as he recovers. We wish him all the best!!

The win leaves Inter Blue in a good position in the IFLI2 table, just a single point of the top spot, with next weekend's opponents Latin Sports.
