''I first began to play football competitively at the age of seven for my local Jewish football team and have continued to do so every year since. Football always ran in my family's DNA and for generations, my family had always been big contributors to Jewish football in the UK.

''My late grandfather had a large role in the set up of the AJY League and after he passed they named the Bill Orkin Cup after him for all his contributions to Jewish sport in England.
''I first came to Israel on my gap year after finishing school and had the most wonderful experience, I met some amazing people from all over the world and was taken by the sense of unity and togetherness that the people in this country had. After the year was over, I decided to make Aliyah and the rest is history.

''But what I am better known for in Israel is for working in Tel Aviv nightlife for many different clubs, bars and events for Internationals in Israel, which I did for about 3/4 years until COVID hit.

''I distinctly remember meeting Matt on Gordon Beach a few years back, we had a nice chat, exchanged numbers and I ended up helping him and his friends into a couple of parties at Shalvata that summer and we kept in touch.
